Why We Give

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV

At Arise Church we practice the act of giving. It is expected that every partner of Arise Church gives what belongs to the Lord. Tithe is the act of giving 10% of your gross income (2 Chronicles 31:5 NIV). Offerings are considered any amount over the 10% tithe. But offerings are far more than just monetary resources. We offer our bodies as living sacrifices unto the Lord by giving our time, talent and treasure.
